Added another composter (and doing it correctly now).
Bought a watering timer.
Collecting rain water for my plants
Fixed 2 leaky toilets (not yard related, but saving water).
Manually removed about 500 dandelions and 50 thistles.
No weed and feed or any other chemical herbicides or fertilizers,
Okay, other than my "rooting" fertilizer, which I think will be hard to give up.
Traded my old indiscriminate sprinkler for a low profile, multi-setting, focused spray pattern version.
Using old grass clippings as mulch, compost browns (once dry), or just for grass-cycling on the lawn.
Thoughts and notes about creating a healthy and productive outdoor living space for my family in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies...
